In art class today, Yellow A,B, C and Red D made
a paper plate jelly fish, while Red E finished up their jelly fish and
started on their paper cup puppet.
In games and movement today, we talked about the
theme of luke 15 (finding those who are lost), and played hide and seek using
obstacles.
Today in 5-6 year old Drama we re-read "If You
Give a Moose a Muffin" paying attention to the sequence so we can retell
the story ourselves with a little book we made in class. Maybe your student can
tell the story to you. We practiced telling the story in animated and
expressive voices to make it more entertaining. We also thought about the book
from a different perspective: Was the moose greedy? demanding? Should he be
more thankful and content with his life? We should be more thankful and
content, too!
Today in music, we learned the song “The Poochie Lip Disease” – which taught us that just like King Ahab, we can't always have everything we want!
