Today in games and movement , we played kickball.
This game was new to most of the kids. It was nice to see children trying and
learning new games. They all enjoyed their time in the gym.
In art, students have been experimenting with using
unconventional materials to create a piece of abstract art. The older students used glue mixed with paint
to create organic black lines. The
younger students used paper cups to create overlapping shapes. We then filled in the negative spaces with
color.
In adventure activities we learned about
communication by playing different games which required different types of
communication such as listening, signing, and talking.
