Age 4: Session one, day five - July 11, 2014

Music:
We have been learning and practicing several songs this week: Hallelu, God is So Good, and Father Abraham. Today we mastered singing Father Abraham along with the motions. We also learned a new game called Freeze Dance! Before you know it, your child will be entering the famous TV show called Hong Kong Idol or So You Think You Can Dance.

Drama:
Today, we listed to the story titled, The Town and the Country Mouse. The students, experienced what it was like to be in the city and also in the country. They got excited when they experienced the life of the country mouse because Hong Kong is a big city and hearing stories about the country was something new for them.

Exploration:
Today, we explored our five senses. Games involved putting their hands in a bag and feeling and then guessing the name of the mysterious object. Yesterday they were paleontologist. Today, they were Sense Detectives.

Arts and Crafts:
Today was a day to look see if our hand footprints matched our hands. The kids were amazed to see that when they pasted their prints on to the paper, it was exactly the same!! What was more amazing was that when you put both prints next to each other, it formed an eagle!!

Movement and Coordination:
Today students had lots of fun moving forward and backward with scooters. We also learned how to avoid obstacles. We learned to play simple activities with hoops. Again, it was a time that got them moving and their motor skills and hand-eye coordination have been given a great work out.
